 This can be BUDGET CAMPING SAFARI or LUXURY LODGE SAFARI.The Kenya Tailor made safari is ideal for people and students who are planning for a private tour or adventure experience in Kenya. This safari will suit the clients who want to visit the National Parks and different destination in Kenya and Tanzania that are not in our itinerary and are not touristic sites. This allows the client to suggest to us the place and National Parks they intend to visit and they have the power to choose, plan and organize the tour and safari, we only provide the transport service and consolation advices to the clients.

This suggested itinerary can be modified entirely to your personal wishes including departure date, time duration, accommodation used and how long you spend in each destination or National Park.

AGTREK 023: Fourteen Falls | Naivasha | Nakuru | Baringo | Bogoria | Kisumu | Masai Mara (11 Days)

Day 1: Fourteen Falls - Naivasha
Fourteen Falls is located in Thika about 65 Kilometers North East of Nairobi off Thika-Garissa Road turning at Makutano junction. Fourteen Falls derives the name from their 14 distinct waterfalls on the broad section of the famous Athi River.
Once at fourteen falls, a local guide will lead you down a rocky path to the near side base of the falls where you get a boat for crossing the river. The experienced boat guides use a long pole, guiding the boat on a leisurely ride downstream, back upstream and across the river to a rocky bank on the far side. The view of the falls from the boat is extraordinary!
You may spend a couple of hours strolling around the rocks at the base of the Falls and enjoy the fresh air, breathtaking view and local flora. The base of the Falls is characterized by large boulders and the powerful sound of rushing water as it cascades down the 25-foot drop.
 A fine spray hangs in the air and keeps everything cool. There are lots of birds. The guides also entertain visitors by performing jumps (they call it 'diving') from the top of the falls to the plunge pool below. Also the tourist can do the diving only if they are well guided and know how to swim. Lunch will be served en route to Nairobi where the tour ends.
Pick up from your hotel at 8.00am to drive by road to 14 falls. Arriving at 9.30 am. Spend time from 9.30 am to 13.00hrs and drive to Thika town for lunch. Depart from Thika at 15.00 to Naivasha arriving at 18.00 hrs and check in a Naivasha Hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Naivasha Hell’s gate- Lake Nakuru National Park
Hell's Gate National Park lies to the south of Lake Naivasha in Kenya, North West of Nairobi.  The park which is mainly comprised of savannah ecosystem harbors a wide variety of wildlife. There are over 100 species of birds in the park, including vultures, Verreaux's Eagles, augur buzzard, and swifts. African buffalo, zebra, eland, hartebeest, Thomson's gazelle, and baboons are also common. The park is also home to klipspringer antelope and Chanler's mountain reedbuck. Some of the activities one done within the park includes; hiking, Camping, Rock Climbing, Bird watching, Photography, Wildlife viewing, cycling and marathon race.
The major attractions inside the park are, Game viewing, Raptor nesting in cliffs, Spectacular Gorge walk, Hot springs, The Olkaria Geothermal Station,  The MervynCarnelley Raptor Hide, Fischer’s Tower,  Tourist circuits, nature trails and picnic sites.
Pick up from the Hotel at 8.00am and head to hell’s gate National park. Here you have an option of cycling or walking while view the animals in the park. Leave the park at 13.30 for Lunch in Naivasha town. Depart Naivasha at 15.00 hrs to drive by road to Lake Nakuru National Park arriving at 18.00hrs. Check in the Hotel and relax.

Day 3: Lake Nakuru National park- Lake Baringo
Lake Nakuru National Park is dominated by a gentle undulating terrain with open bush and woodlands, typical of the dry rift valley vegetation. Twenty seven percent of the park is composed of the Lake Nakuru waters. The Park was declared a Rhino Sanctuary in 1983. The Rhino stocking program which ensued received white rhinos from South Africa. Currently the sanctuary has approximately 45 black and 31 white rhinoceros. The Park lies in the volcanic – strewn Great Rift Valley, one of the chains of 8 lakes,
The lake is world famous as the location of the greatest bird spectacle on earth. Pink flamingoes whose numbers are legion, often more than a million. There are also a number of giraffe. The Park also has large sized python snakes that inhabit the dense woodlands, and can often be seen crossing the roads or dangling from trees.
After breakfast, drive in the Lake Nakuru National park to view the animals and the birds. The park is small so 4 hours is enough to cover the park. Leave Lake Nakuru at 13.00 hrs toArriving in Lake Baringo in the afternoon. Here you have an opportunity to have the option of a boat trip to view the many birds which inhabit this lake, the hippos and fishing experience. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Lake Baringo- Bogoria – Kisumu
After breakfast depart to Lake Bogoria, which is known for hot spring, Explore on foot of this natural lake and view the Flamingoes in their thousands. Caution must be taken, while walking near the hot springs as these are super-hot. Depart at 11.00 am for Kisumu Lunch is served en route arriving at 18.00hrs.  Dinner and Overnight in Kisumu Hotel

Day 5: Kisumu - Ndere Island National Park
After breakfast trek to the lake shore or the yacht club, then take a boat to Ndere Island National park. According to Luo legendary story Ndere (meeting place) is where Mikaye the mother of the Luo rested after along journey down the Nile to the Lake Victoria before reaching her home Kit - Mikaye. The day is spent in search of the lake's largest crocodiles, Hippos, monitor lizards, birds, water antelopes etc. Enjoy fishing and taste your catch for dinner.  Overnight stay in  hotel in the city center of Kisumu

Day 7: Kisumu - Full Day
After breakfast, drive to yacht club where you will take your boat to the lake for fishing and visiting the Kiboko Bay Beach Resort for seeing the hippos, you will then join the fishermen at Dunga beach for further fishing expeditions till evening.  Dinner and overnight stay in lodge or Hotel in the city of Kisumu

Day 8: Kisumu – Narok
In the morning after breakfast explore the Lake shore and drive to Narok town. Lunch is served en route. Dinner and overnight in Narok town.

Day 9: Narok – Masai Mara
Pick up from your hotel in Narok at 8.00 am and head to masaimara game reserve. Check in the lodge or camp Lunch is served in the lodge or camp. After lunch relax until 16.00hrs to start an evening game drive to see the many animals that inhabit this unique park, return to Lodge or camp before sunset, sit around the campfire, and hear the sounds of the night whisper softly into your ears. Dinner and overnight at lodge or camp

Day 10: Masaai Mara
After breakfast spend full day game drives, explore the parks amazingly high concentration of game. This game reserve is Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary including migrants, well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here although July, August and September are the months when the Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra, there is also resident wildlife year round. The famous Maasai tribesmen live within the dispersal area of the game reserve lunch is serve in the park return to lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 11: Masaai Mara/Nairobi
An early morning game drive in Masai Mara followed by late breakfast at the campsite and a departure to Nairobi stopping sporadically for the breathtaking panoramic views of the rift valley and adjacent landforms. The tour ends in Nairobi late in the afternoon
